Opportunities available to support the development of student talents at Bombala Public School include:

• Interschool sport competitions including PSSA, knockout and Gala Days
• Representative sport pathways with support to access high levels of competition from our rural setting
• Student Representative Council
• Connection with Canberra University through the Aspire Program which provides rural students with access and exposure to tertiary education opportunities.
• Public speaking and debating including the Rotary Public Speaking competition
• Lunchtime clubs which include Choir, Chess, Drama, Running, Drawing, Meditation and Yoga
• Curriculum-aligned excursions and incursions including, Sport and Rec camps, Melbourne and Canberra excursions and quality visiting interactive performances
• Wellbeing and social emotional development and support through programs such as the Dogs Connect Wellbeing Dog Program and Rock and Water Program promoting resilience, self-awareness and self-confidence
