Sporting Pathways
At Bombala Public School, we believe sport plays an important role in developing confidence, resilience, teamwork and a healthy lifestyle. Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sporting activities, from school carnivals and gala days to PSSA competitions and representative pathways.
Our sporting program encourages every student to get involved, challenge themselves and strive for their personal best, regardless of ability. Through quality coaching, positive encouragement and a strong focus on participation, we foster a love of physical activity while celebrating individual achievement, teamwork and sportsmanship.

STEM & Hands-on learning experiences
At Bombala Public School, we inspire curiosity, creativity and critical thinking through engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and hands-on learning experiences. Excursions, Camps and Educational Incursions
At Bombala Public School, we believe some of the most valuable learning happens beyond the classroom. Our excursion and incursion program enriches the curriculum by providing students with authentic, hands-on experiences that deepen understanding and inspire curiosity.
Throughout the year, students participate in a variety of educational excursions, camps and on-site incursions that complement classroom learning across a range of curriculum areas. From cultural experiences and environmental education to sporting events, performances and visits from specialist presenters, these opportunities help students develop new skills, broaden their horizons and create lasting memories.
At the end of the year, Year 6 experience a week in Melbourne, Year 5 experience three days at Jinadbyne Sport & Recreation Centre, Year 4 experience two days in Canberra while K-3 enjoy a planned day trip.
